Dear Baby G,
I titled this entry "12 Weeks and Counting" because at the moment you are a mere 12 weeks and just the size of a lime. However you are already so loved! We are counting down the months until your arrival - only 6 more to go...I can't wait to meet you!
Your Daddy and I were able to see you for the first time today - and what an amazing sight! I cried happy tears as the Ultrasound Technician showed us each of your developing body parts. She said that everything looked great and that your due date of October 31 will remain as is.
We tried to get a glimpse of whether you are a boy or girl, but you wouldn't move much for us. So it remains a mystery. We heard your heartbeat a month ago and it was 170, today your heartbeat was 162...all perfectly normal.
The Ultrasound Technician sent us home with a video of the entire ultrasound and pictures. I watched the video again when I got home because I wanted to see some more of you.
Here you are at just 12 weeks, already a cutie :)
